Awards: Chaloem received wonderful recognition from the legendary Mietta in her Eating and Drinking in Australia guide where she awarded him Best Thai Chef in Victoria. Mietta also awarded Chaloem's Trentham restaurant a winner of Victoria's Top Places. Chaloem's new restaurant Paladarr Thai Issan exploded into Alphington in May 2005.
