At Katandra Gardens you will experience Australia in the peace, tranquillity, bush scents and bird life of our 8 acre paradise. Katandra Gardens offers 8 acres of landscaped gardens featuring an amazing collection of Australian native plants. The gardens are open to the public and guided tours can be arranged.
The beautiful gardens are situated in Wandin, a rural fruit growing area with cherries, apples, strawberries, peaches, and grapes as well as having a number of small flower farms.
The gardens offer peaceful surrounds, magnificent views, a place to walk around and commune with nature and an opportunity to see the honeyeaters, blue wrens, wattle birds, fantails, Willy Wag Tails, Thornbills, Grebes and many other birds which frequent the gardens. Visitors are able to wander the gardens, filming the plants or identifying some of the 75 bird species, which have been recorded in the gardens over the past few years.
