Dirk Hartog Island is located directly west of Denham, off the Francois Peron peninsula, 5hrs north of Geraldton. Guests travelling to Dirk Hartog Island can chose to travel by car, boat or plane. Dirk Hartog Island is open to the public from March to October inclusively each year. Whale sharks are common in the months of March and April and mantra rays are normally seen from March to August.
