The Frosty Mango is an ideal place to stop off between Townsville and Cairns to fill up with the best fresh food around. Frosty Mango is in particular famous for its lip-smackingly good fresh home-made ice-cream, made with fruit grown on the premises - which you can see for yourself. Take a stroll around the orchard grounds and check it out.

Things to do: *To the south is beautiful Townsville and the picturesque Magnetic Island. Go west and you will find the historic town of Charters Towers *Close to Frosty Mango, you can go fishing, enjoy swimming spots, and very scenic picnic areas in Crystal Creek or go for a drive in the other direction up to Mt Spec National Park, with its nature walks and Paluma, a quaint little village with artists galleries and the renown Ivy Cottage for home-style meals and accommodation *16 km north of Frosty Mango is the Jourama National Park and its beautiful waterfalls. Further north is Ingham and 30km west is Wallaman Falls, with a 300 m high waterfall, the highest in Australia
