What started out as The Quamby in 1914, selling strawberries and cream for 6d. a time, in 1958 became the Cuckoo Restaurant, and started the journey to become the icon of surrounding hills that it is today.
With seating for 450 guests in 3 different dining areas there is plenty of space and plenty of choice. Each dining area has different buffets and facilities. The international chefs and their dedicated teams create soups, seafood entrees, both hot and cold meals including traditional roasts, continental cakes and pastries. There's an extensive wine list to compliment the food, or spirits or beers if that's more your scene.
With Melbourne CBD only an hour away and many excellent bed and breakfasts within 10 minutes of the Cuckoo, it's a great weekend away treat. With Bavarian floor shows including yodelling and slap dances, there's plenty to keep you entertained.
