Munupi Wilderness Lodge has built a reputation as a premier fishing and adventure destination, on Melville Island. Situated on the northeastern corner of the Apsley Straight, the awesome and historic stretch of water that separates Bathurst and Melville Islands. The Lodge is a spacious, cool, and relaxing retreat from the sometimes-debilitating affects of the tropical climate.

Munupi Wilderness Lodge is a complex of 4 Twin Share Rooms, 4 Triple Share Rooms, 2 Double Rooms and 1 Family Room with Double Bed and Bunk bed all our rooms are air conditioned, a spacious and comfortable living area, bar and dining area, which is all strategically situated on a cliff top overlooking the Apsley Straight sunset.

The tropical sports fishing is what many people come for, and ranges from flats and sight fishing in areas that are virtually un-fished, reef fishing for the fabulous Black Jewfish and Golden Snapper to some newly emerging blue-water options in untested waters.
