Saltford Golf Club is a wooded parkland golf course situated in an attractive stretch of country midway between the cities of Bath and Bristol just off the A4. The course nestles in a natural wooded setting with extensive views over both cities.
The course was laid out by the famous Harry Vardon in 1904 and was originally a 9 holes. It was extended to 18 some years later and remained essentially the same until the 1990's when further land was utilised to create five new holes.
In parallel with the course alterations a major extension of the club house was completed, making Saltford one of the West Country's premier Members' Clubs.
