Plas Mynach is a unique house situated in one of the most beautiful parts of Britain. It was built in the 1880s as a substantial holiday home for the Perrins family (of Lea & Perrins sauce).

Today it still fulfils its original purpose with spacious rooms, comfortably equipped for a relaxing holiday. It is set in its own, largely wooded, grounds and offers total privacy and magnificent sea and mountain views.

Local Area: Barmouth stands at the mouth of the glorious Mawddach estuary and faces the open expanse of Cardigan Bay. It is a small town with miles of sandy beaches and the usual entertainments of a coastal resort. There are a variety of bars and eateries. The town also has a railway station. Further up the coast are the splendid castles of Harlech and Caernarfon, while inland stand the wild hills and mountains of Snowdonia.
Further Information: The Tower Flat A stone spiral staircase leads from its own private entrance up to this romantic hideaway. This second-floor apartment comprises of a spacious sitting room with splendid sea views, galley kitchen, double bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with an electric NEFF oven, hob, microwave and refrigerator. The apartment is centrally heated. The tower also has its own private sundeck with spectacular panoramic views for lazy afternoons and those sunsets. Rental The apartment is available in the mid and low season (September - June, excluding school holidays) at £400 per week. Short breaks are also available at £275. The apartment is non-smoking and not suitable for children, due to the steep staircase.

Stayed there some time ago and totally enjoyed our stay. Beautiful, comfortable and food excellent. Even went clay pigeon shooting on the cadir idris with the owner. They had a goat called Ghengis Khan which was tethered in the grounds and was very friendly ... Read More
