Roman Lakes Leisure Park

Deep in the valley of the River Goyt on the outskirts of Stockport lies Roman Lakes Leisure Park, one of the UK's Premier Angling Lakes.

As well as carp, for which the Park is famous, there are large stocks of silver fish. With a free car park, cafe and toilets this venue is ideal for your angling day out.

At weekends the tackle shop is open and sells fresh bait as well as all other angling tackle. A P.A.A. coach is on hand at weekends and also available for one to one or group coaching at anytime by appointment.

Constructed and opened in June 2003, our boule pitch is probably the first in Stockport. If not the first it is sure to be the first environmentally friendly pitch having been constructed from reclaimed and waste materials. Approx 40 foot x 12 foot it is a full size pitch and gives a great game in an idyllic setting.
