The Frenchgate Shopping Centre is in the heart of Doncaster Town Centre and boasts a fine selection of shops to suit every taste and pocket.

Work is currently being carried out to extend the existing Frenchgate which will include a flagship Debenhams store over 100,000 Sq Ft. It will also house a refurbished train station and a new bus station. When complete the Frenchgate will consist of over 800,000 sq ft. of retail space and will become the 18th largest Shopping Centre in the country and will have all communication networks all in one place.

In addition to this the existing Frenchgate is undergoing a complete refurbishment to ensure the old and the new will be seamless and will blend as one. The refurbishment of the existing Centre is due for completion November 2005, with total completion of the scheme being June 2006.

Getting There: Leave the M18 at Junction 3, follow the signposts to Doncaster Town Centre. Alternatively, leave A1 Junction 37, signposted A635, at roundabout take 3rd exit onto Barnsley Road (A635 Doncaster). Traffic signals turn right onto York Road (A638) continue into Doncaster Town.
