Street Wise Self-Defence SWSDA

We are a new organisation that offers real self-defence classes as well as traditional martial arts. All our instructors are fully qualified, insured and CRB check- all also hold relevant first aid qualifications. Each instructor holds at least black belt level in one art.

Our head instructor David Chastell is a recognised self-defence instructor with Self-Defence UK - the international fighting arts federation. David is also a recognised women's self defence instructor and qualified Escape Rape instructor.

1st degree black belt self-defence (cobra martial arts association) Recognised self-defence instructor by the Australian self-defence union (Ninjado)

In addition to David's self-defence skills he also holds a 1st degree black belt in judo, and has trained directly under grand master Ip Ching (son of Ip Man the foremost teacher of Bruce Lee) in the art of Wing Chun whilst living in Hong Kong. David is also a registered door supervisor (bouncer) and a former MMA competitor
