Diss has something new to offer people of all ages. The Angel Cafe on the Fair Green is the venue for PAINT YOUR OWN POTTERY on Monday evenings from 3pm to 7 p.m.

The "Pottery Cafe" has been taking off across England in recent years and has now arrived in Diss. Participants paint a piece of pottery of their choice, available at the cafe, and it is then kiln-fired and ready to collect a week later. This is hugely popular with children and is an excellent event for children's parties. It is a delightful and satisfying activity for adults as well. This creative event is being organized by Angel Arts and Ceramics, which is based in the Angel Cafe. A free tea or coffee is offered all through March and April to parents accompanying children or to participating adults.
