Club Sandwich Korfball club is based in Canterbury and train in the Body & Mind Leisure Centre, just off of Knight Avenue and attached to the Canterbury High School.
We are looking for new beginners to come along to our training sessions ot learn about Korfball and play for us in our friendly league matches, as well as attend our numerous social events.
Korfball is a mixed team sport that is increasing in popularity throughout the world. The sport was introduced by a Dutch school teacher who founded Korfball back in 1875. The word 'Korf' is simply Dutch for 'basket' and so we retain the Dutch word for obvious reasons (basketball was already taken!).
