Fluid Concept is a surf shop & surf school run by local surfers Mark & Steve. Situated in the Spa complex on Scarborough's South Bay beach & with a car park in front of us & the beach in front of that, it couldn't be easier for you to get into the surf!

We have full hire facilities including soft surfboards for beginners & hard boards for the more experienced plus summer & winter wetsuits, boots & gloves so you don't even need to bring any equipment!

Our surf school is second to none! Steve our tutor has over 20yrs of surfing experience, he's patient, friendly & can answer all your surf questions. He's completed the BSA ( British Suring Association ) surf coach course & is also a qualified beach lifeguard, so you couldn't be in better hands! We believe a surf coach should be able to surf well in order to teach others so we're very proud of Steve's abilities.

Details

Facilities: We have changing facilities at the shop, with keysafes & storage space for your car keys or clothes. There's a car park directly in front of us & in front of that is the beach so it couldn't be more convenient. Lessons last around 2hrs & we ask you to arrive about 15 mins before the start of the lesson so we can get you suited & booted! We also offer a hot drink & a post surf chat at no extra charge! Prices start at £20 per person & this includes all equipment hire, expert tuition, storage facilities & a hot drink all you need to bring is your swimming cossie & a towel.
Car parking: The Spa car park is directly in front of us & offers all day parking, so after the surf you could wander into the town for some post session shopping!
