Stanley Taxis was founded in 1961, when they ran 2 taxis from a wooden 'hut' located in Stanley, where the Louisa Centre now stands. Since those early days things have come on along way. They now have a fleet of over 60 Vehicles, and over 100 employees, making them the largest Taxi Operator in Derwentside.
