Could a more perfect building have been found for an indoor climbing wall in this country! Situated on the south bank of the River Wear and thanks to the famous past history of Sunderland Shipbuilding, the shed was seemingly purpose built for a climbing centre.
Sunderland Wall is a phenomenal 23 metres high. Never before has a climbing wall been able to offer such a gob smacking, jaw dropping experience. You'll understand when you walk through the door for the first time - and the second and third!
The wall will meet the aspirations of the top climbers in the world, while still catering for every other user group of all ages and abilities.

Had never climbed before, and did not know what to expect. But loved it!! Booked a 'taster' session. Very friendly staff, excellent instruction - felt very safe - even at the top of the 10 metre - it looks VERY high from the top!! And haven't even tried the 23 metre sections yet ... Read More
