Empress Coaches

St. Leonards-On-Sea, Empress Coaches runs a mixed fleet of 11 vehicles offering a full range of sizes for all your coach and mini-bus hire needs. The company was originally started in 1929 when Harry Phillips bought his first coach, a new 20 seat Dennis. The first Empress garage was built the following year in Harry's back garden in Edmund Road, Hastings, remaining in use until 1990.

All our vehicles have seat belts fitted, mostly of the 3 point lap and diagonal type. Every vehicle is cleaned and checked prior to hire to ensure your comfort and safety. Drivers are First Aid and Disability Awareness trained so you know you will be in safe hands.
