Situated right in the heart of the premier flying sites of the South East of the UK on the beautiful Sussex South Downs, our centre has excellent facilities for all your flying needs. Please feel free to pop in!

Airworks is run by one of the UK's most prominent paraglider pilots, Steve Purdie, current Competitions Panel Safety Officer, former British champion and captain of the British paragliding team.

If you just want to fly without going through all the training, then a tandem flight is for you. After an introduction to how it all works you will fly for approximately twenty minutes with British champion 2000, Steve Purdie.

One-Day Introduction This is actually day one of the ten day course: You will learn to handle the equipment on the ground. You will learn to take-off and land, fly short low flights and by the end of the day you will have

Getting There: By car: From the M25, take the M23 towards Brighton. At the A27 junction, head towards Eastbourne. Shortly after passing Lewes, turn left, following the signs to Glyndebourne. We are the train station in Glynde village. By Train: We are based in Glynde Railway Station, on the London to Eastbourne line. By Light Aircraft/ Helicopter: very short unmarked grass strip at 50.859N 0.069E
