Gosford Forest Park

Gosford Forest Park is situated near Markethill and features some truly magnificent scenery. Gosford Castle is one of the major features of this park and it is also one of the most remarkable buildings in Ireland.

Many fine species of tree can be found in Gosford Forest Park. There are both deciduous and coniferous trees here and some are up to 200 years old. Gosford Forest Park also has a large collection of wildfowl in its numerous ponds.

Facilities of the park include camping and caravan sites, barbeque areas, a teahouse, walking trails, horse-riding routes, guided tours, a function hall and disabled access.
