Ramster is a mature flowering shrub garden of over 20 acres, it is full of unusual and interesting plants which flourish under the canopy of oaks and larches.
In April, sheets of daffodils cover the ground; camellias, magnolias and early flowering rhododendrons. In May, the brilliant display of rhododendrons and azaleas is at its best, while a carpet of bluebells fills the air with scent and the ever-changing colours of the garden are reflected in the pond.
Ramster Embroidery Exhibition in its 8th year runs from 21st - 31st May 2005. Over 200 embroideries are for sale in the splendid Jacobean Hall and Great Drawing Room. The Tea House will be open 10am - 5pm daily while the garden is open for drinks, delicious home made cakes and sandwiches.
