The onsite museum illustrates the history of the site from the brickworks of 1859 to the gardens of today. There is a Tropical House, which includes a cacti collection, a Family Nature Trail, Aquatic Centre and a Gift Shop. Monet Tearooms serves morning coffee, light lunches, delicious Dorset Cream Teas and cakes baked on the premises.
