In the magnificent mountainside setting of the Eachaig Valley lies Benmore, an enchanting garden steeped in history and surrounded by dramatic scenery. Rising to 450ft, Benmore's 120 acres boast world-famous collections of trees and shrubs, including some of the tallest trees in Britain and over 300 species of rhododendron.
On entering the Garden visitors are welcomed by an impressive avenue of Giant Redwood trees, arguably one of the finest entrances to any garden in the world. Established in 1863, these majestic giants are over 50 metres tall.
Throughout the Garden there is a range of delightful trails which lead to a beautiful pond and historic Formal Garden, home to the distinctive Puck's Hut. Continue through hillside woodlands to a dramatic viewpoint overlooking the surrounding mountains and Holy Loch.
