Waterperry Gardens has an atmosphere that reflects its 1000 year old history.
Start by visiting the old Saxon church with its 13th Century original glass windows. Then there are the 8 acre gardens, made famous by Beatrix Havergal's gardening school from the 1930s, which boasts one of the finest herbaceous borders in the country. A comprehensive and interesting collection of tools and implements is housed in the 18th Century granary.
Waterperry Gardens is open all year around and you will always find something to make the visit worthwhile whatever the season.
