Gawsworth Hall is an ancient manor house dating from late 15th century wrapped in romance, intrigue and great charm. Still a family home, Gawsworth has fine pictures and furniture.
Gawsworth Hall not only makes a delightful day out for all the family, but, between June and August, they proudly present a wide range of open air theatre events in an all seated, covered auditorium. This year includes Twelfth Night by Wiliam Shakespeare, The Mikado by Gilbert and Sullivan, Woman in Mind by Alan Aykbourn and a special adaptation of three Sherlock Holmes stories. Concerts include a 60's Night, 70's Night, Abba Tribute, Jazz with Humphrey Lyttelton & Tina May, and classical with Hayley Westenra.
