For a touch of the exotic, visit Logan Botanic Garden. This sub-tropical paradise is home to a spectacular collection of bizarre and beautiful plants. Warmed by the Gulf Stream, the climate provides the ideal growing conditions for Southern Hemisphere plants, you'll find it hard to believe you're still in Scotland!

Logan's Walled Garden is a showcase for brilliant blooms and is ablaze with colour throughout the season. The Woodland Garden is a haven for the weird and wonderful from the groves of eucalypts to the extraterrestrial looking Gunnera bog. And, while many visitors will be content to enjoy a leisurely stroll, a walk to the highest point will be rewarded with magnificent views over the Rhins to the Galloway Hills and beyond.

Following a self-guided audio tour, joining guided walks or visiting the Discovery Centre means all ages can learn about 'Scotland's Most Exotic Garden'. Or, simply be tempted by the delicious home baking and local delicacies of the Salad Bar.
