Stump Cross Caverns

One of Britain's premier show caves, Stump Cross Caverns is located in Nidderdale on the border of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

The centre includes spacious tearooms, serving a variety of meals, cakes and desserts, as well as a wide selection of hot and cold drinks.

There is a large gift shop at Stumps Cross, offering a variety of gifts and souvenirs to commemorate your visit to the caves, also stocking a wide variety of geological pieces including minerals, fossils and crystals.

A lecture theatre at Stumps Cross displays a 20 minute video detailing the history of the caves and the local area, as well as giving insight into the different ways in which the formations in the caves were created.
