A unique experience for all the family combining a complete Edwardian Steam Fair, three steam railways, traction engines, farm and sawmill all set in beautiful Woodland Gardens. The emphasis is on seeing steam power working in the way it was designed to work. You can enjoy riding on the fairground, trains and traction engine ride and can see demonstrations of steam powered equipment at the farm and sawmill.
Hollycombe's fairground is typical of the Edwardian era, including rides from the gentle "Golden Gallopers" and "Dobbie Set" to the first "white knuckle" rides of the "Steam Yacht" and the "Razzle Dazzle". There are also side stalls to try your skill and juvenile rides for the younger children.
On the Quarry Railway you can ride behind vintage steam locomotives for a mile and a half to see spectacular views across the Sussex Wield. The Tramway runs between the Sawmill and the Farm behind an ex Chatham Dockyard steam locomotive. The miniature railway runs for a third of a
