Cotehele

Located at the heart of this beautiful riverside estate lies the grandeur of Cotehele. Dating back to the 14th century, this medieval house boasts wonderful collections of textiles, furniture and armor and has been home to the Edgcumbe family for centuries.

Made from slatestone and granite, the house features intimate chambers, large tudor fireplaces and rich wall hangings, and is perfectly complimented by its extensive gardens which overlook the breath-taking valley with its Victorian summer house and medieval dovecote. A network of walking and cycle paths run through the Edgcumbe estate providing a variety of riverside and woodland hiking opportunities.
