The cottage, formerly known as Bwthyn Llywelyn, is the oldest house in the picturesque village of Beddgelert, situated within the Snowdonia National Park near the spectacular Aberglaslyn Pass. It houses a 'plot to plate' exhibition on the area's local foods, and its recently restored 19th-century kitchen contains information on the diet of 200 years ago. There are superb walks in the area, including a 1¼-mile circular wheelchair route along the riverbank and past the legendary Gelert's grave. No WC. Nearest WC 90yds down lane behind cottage
