Trace the history of these fascinating craft from the early days of steam launches right up to the latest state-of-the-art offshore powerboats.

Many record breakers and rare examples are housed in the museum, and not only boats but also an extensive collection of outboard and inboard motors.

The museum shows how the motorboat evolved in all its shapes and forms. On the ground floor you will find examples of motorboats from each era of development, while upstairs the parallel story of the development of the outboard engine is told.
