Verulamium Museum

Located in 100 acres of parkland, the Verulamium Museum is set on the site, of one of the major cities in Roman Britain, inside the museum are recreated, Roman rooms, hands-on Discovery Areas, new video, touch screen databases, and some of the finest, Roman mosaics and wall plasters.

The museum gives the visitor, an opportunity to discover the life and times, of a major Roman city. There are many facilities in the parkland, such as a children's play area, a children's paddling pool, tea shop, a lake with wildlife, golf and tennis, and an attractive shop, selling high quality souvenirs and books, with affordable pocket money items for children.
