Over the years the Museum Service has gathered lots of things telling the story of the town and its people and these are displayed at Luton Museum and Gallery. The archaeology collections include flint tools used by the earliest inhabitants of the area, a spectacular hoard of Roman gold coins, and Anglo Saxon jewellery. From the more recent past we have household goods used in many Luton homes, items linked with local industry and community life and recordings of Lutonians' lives.
Admission is free. Explore the development of Luton from pre-history to the present day.
