Letchworth is the worlds first garden city. The museum exhibits items relating to the Garden City movement and the development and social history of Letchworth Garden City from 1903, displayed in the former office and home of the architect Barry Parker.
It provides a fascinating insight into the vision of Ebenezer Howard, one of the world's great social reformers. Ebenezer Howard believed that the problems of overcrowding, pollution and poor living conditions could be solved through the marriage of town and country. Come and visit the museum and wander around the magical garden city.
