Cefn Coed Colliery Museum

A magnificent steam winding engine, now electrically driven, a simulated gallery and a fascinating display of mining tools and equipment are the highlights of this museum housed in the original buildings of the former Cefn Coed Colliery.

Come and explore the colliery buildings and experience our underground gallery. Our well stocked souvenir and gift shop is open throughout the museum opening hours and can be visited separately from the museum. There are special events and talks throughout the year.
