The Cromwell Museum's purpose is to interpret the life and legacy of Oliver Cromwell, 1599-1658, by collecting, explaining and exhibiting relevant material.
The museum is in the old Huntingdon Grammar School, where Cromwell was a pupil, and close to the site of his birth. The museum has a representative collection of portraits, documents, coins and medals and personal objects associated with or owned by Cromwell. There is a selection of material on display and a reserve collection.
