Baranca and Blue Diamond are quiet family run Guest Houses situated on the historic Bayle in the heart of Folkestone overlooking the channel and French Coast. Initially Baranca was restored to cater for the constant flow of tourists and one-day shoppers to France and beyond. However as reputation grew and demand got heavier Blue Diamond was purchased and offered a further 8 rooms to the 10 already in demand. Our customer base is wide ranging from all continents of the world and many 1st time visitors become friends who return year after year. Both Guest Houses offer a friendly atmosphere with clean homely accommodation, it has been stated by many visitors that hotels offer a clean but clinical and businesslike approach which does not allow them to relax.
