Located by the sea this guesthouse was once part of a Sussex farm house, but moved to its present location opposite the Romney Sands in 1928. White Horses Cottage offers lovely B&B accommodation for those seeking a seaside holiday or a peaceful break from their travels.

The house features oak beams and leaded light windows. Offering 3 double rooms, one with a four poster bed. Two rooms have en-suite facilities, the other has a private shower room.

All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, TV and hair dryers. All rooms have sea views and share a balcony with a table and chairs for your use.

The nutritious breakfasts feature; fresh fruit, smoked Haddock and a selection of egg dishes. Toast is served with home made bread and preserves. Organic cereals are available.

Details

Local Area: There are several local restaurants and pubs where you can get a good meal. The Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch light railway, a third scale steam train, runs between Dungeness and Hythe. The station is only about 2 minutes away. There are 2 lighthouses at Dungeness, one of which is open to the public to climb for a spectacular view. Bird watchers come from miles to visit the Dungeness Bird Reserve and Observatory. The Historic cinque port town of Rye is only about 15 minutes away, and well worth a visit. The late film maker Derek Jarmens, garden on the beach at Dungeness is of great interest to our visitors and artists. There are several activities taking place locally, Windsurfing, land yachting, go-karting, fishing, golf.
