Eildon House a 'B' listed Georgian house and fromer dairy circa 1802. The present owner has sympathetically restored it from a derelict condition. Located just 5 miles from Edinburgh City centre and conveniently located for frequent buses (journey 30 minutes). All guestrooms are traditionally furnished with antique furniture and original paintings. They have tea and coffee facilities, a hairdryer, radio/TV, central heating and wireless Internet access.

Getting There: From Edinburgh city centre Join A1 east at London Road and continue for about 1 mile. At the second set of lights after Meddowbank sports centre (pub on your left), take the right filter onto Willowbrae Road (still A1) This becommes Milton Road and eventually ends at a 'T' junction. Gorightt onto A199 and you will see Musselburgh sign. Drive straight on untill you come to the lights on the bridge. Keep in the left lane. On crossing the bridge, you will see a church and the 'Caprice' resturaunt facing you. Take the right filter into Dalrimple Loan. At the top of this road it bends to the left keep going. After the bend take the first on the right. Newbigging. Eildon is a red stone house 100 yards on the right.
Local Area: There are excellent restaurants within walking distance & numerous small cafes for light snacks. There is easy access to the Edinburgh City bypass, the Airport and all major roads. Free parking and secure motorbike and bicycle storage is available. There is a Sports centre and Swimming pool next door. Enjoy beautiful walks or cycles by the river and to the unspoilt beaches of East Lothian. Golf, Nature Reserves and birdwatching opportunities abound nearby. We provide drying facilities and packed lunches / laundry by prior arrangement.
