Church View is located approximately 4 miles from the Ancient City of York in the pretty Village of Stockton on the Forest on bus route to York and East Coast every 30mins.

Church View is a former farmhouse all rooms ensuite and tastefully decorated a cosy lounge is available for guests to relax in with real fires on chilly evenings. A large family ground floor room with kingsize bed, two single and sofa bed can accommodate up to six ideal for the larger family or group or those who can not manage stairs.

A romantic four poster room with lace draped bed and special lighting is ideal for a couple celebrating a special occasion and a family room with double and bunk beds is ideal for two adults and two children. Breakfast of your choice including local produce and our free-range eggs can satisfy the appetite in preparation for a day in York.

Evening meal can be arranged in advance if required suitable for those with young children that can be put to bed leaving a restful evening.

Local Area: The East Coast and North Yorkshire moors are less than an hours drive away and Castle Howard home of Bridsehead revisited is only a 15min drive. Stockton on Forest is surrounded by pretty country walks across the fields and woodland where foxes and deer can often be seen. There are many excellent places to eat locally and the village pub serves food all day. The village has a local pub/restaurant and Golf Course.
Getting There: Stockton on Forest is located on the East side of York off the A64 York to Scarborough Road. If visiting by train the Coastliner bus can be caught every 30mins from the Station in to the village and can take you to anywhere you wish to visit along the East Coast no car needed.
