Haymount House is set in 1 acre of mature gardens and woodlands and is an ideal place for a night or for weeks on end.

The three rooms are bright clean and large enough to relax and enjoy. a refreshment tray is available as are radio/cd player for your enjoyment.

Guest lounge, overlooking the front garden, has TV, DVD or video players. We have loads of videos and some DVD'S, also a very large selection of CD'S and a quality Hi Fi available for your pleasure. A small library of novels is available to read or exchange. We serve a tea tray on arrival to welcome you to Haymount.

We are very happy to book restaurants for evening meals. A stay at Haymount is enjoyable and many of our guests can't wait to come again.

Local Area: Coldstream is equal distance from Edinburgh and Newcastle and a very good stop off point to break your journey. We are 10 miles from Kelso or Duns. 13 miles from Berwick upon Tweed. Coldstream is a fine spot for fishing on the Tweed, golf at the Hirsel Course, racing at Kelso, Alnwick Gardens are within an hour away, Holy Island is similar distance. The Hirsel Country Park is 1/2 mile from Haymount and has many walks over 3000 acres.
Further Information: Single occupancy is from 40/45 per night. Per night double from 60/65 Haymount is an ideal place to plan a group weekend or few days away, If you come as a group you can have the run of the house, use the lounge as if you were at home. We can accommodate up to six people, provide breakfast at a time to suit, and generally help you to enjoy your stay.
