Sheviock Barton is situated in the centre of the small unspoiled village of Sheviock, directly opposite the 13th century church. The 400 year-old house has been totally but sympathetically restored, with full central heating. Full cooked breakfast is served in the large farmhouse kitchen, with oak beams and 4-oven AGA.

We have four guest bedrooms, each with its own TV: a family room with a double and a single bed plus en-suite shower room; a double with en-suite bathroom; a double with en-suite shower room; and a twin room with private bathroom. Plus a relaxing Sitting Room for guests' own use. We like to offer the home-from-home approach and you can come and go as you please. But, for everyone's comfort, we have a "no-smoking" policy in the house.

All around there are large gardens and grounds; plus a large Games Room with table tennis, pool table, darts, etc.

Further Information: Other attractions nearby... super walks, fishing (sea, lake and river); sailing/boat hire; golf (spectacular 18 hole course ½ mile); tennis; horse riding; indoor swimming; and much more.
Local Area: The house and village are in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty set on the Rame Peninsula, known as "Cornwall's Forgotten Corner". The peninsula has many beaches to enjoy (the nearest less than 1 mile away); spectacular coastal scenery and unspoilt fishing villages to see; country houses and gardens to visit; and a wide variety of places in which to eat and drink (the local pub/restaurant is ½ mile away). Yet Plymouth with its city attractions and many historic connections is only 6 miles via the Torpoint car ferry. The popular resorts of Looe and Polperro are only 20 minutes away; and the world famous Eden Project is only 35 minutes by car.
