Built in 1650 the Grade II listed Old Post House is in the historic and peaceful village of Great Wishford approximately midway between Stonehenge and Salisbury. It is our family home from which we also run the village shop and Post Office.
Great Wishford has two excellent pubs offering lunchtime and evening meal and is a convenient base from which to visit Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral, Bath, Longleat, Wilton House, Avebury Stone Circle and Stourhead Gardens.
We have three clean and pretty en-suite guest rooms and you are welcome to relax in our prize winning sheltered garden. Breakfast is cooked to order from locally bought produce on an old fashioned Aga cooker.
The Old Post House is a relaxed and friendly family home in a beautiful part of the country.
