Caemwgal lies in stunning countryside close to the old county town of Montgomery. We are in the heart of the country but close to all amenities.
Offa's Dyke is a 200m stroll over the field for those who are keen on walking, with plenty of opportunities for other walks available. For the more adventurous there is quad biking, mountain biking, and a pony trekking centre within a few miles. There is even hot air ballooning!
For those who prefer gentler pursuits there is Powis Castle with it's award winning gardens, and also Glansevern Hall with it's Art gallery and gardens meandering to the river Severn. Both are a comfortable 15 minute drive.
The beautiful Lake Vyrnwy is a haven for the fishermen amongst you, as is the river Camlad, which is a stones throw away. The Clywedog Dam offers the ideal venue for sailing with it's own school on the shores. It also happens to be situated close to the Hafren Forest, the source of the Severn, and is superb Red Kite country.
