Backways Farmhouse is a comfortable old house with inglenook fireplaces, low beams, central heating throughout and views across fields to the Wellington Monument on the Blackdown Hills in one direction and our own cobbled courtyard and stone barns with summer swallows in the other.
The spacious rooms have either a large modern en-suite or a private bathroom and are variously furnished with a sofa, chairs, colour tv and the guest lounge has a wood-burning stove in the inglenook fireplace. A modem point can be arranged for e-mail access. Guests have a private entrance and are welcome to sit outside and enjoy the garden. There is ample private parking in our courtyard and secure cycle storage in our barns. Please be aware that we are a non-smoking house. A hearty breakfast with free range eggs from our own chickens will set you up for the day.
