Glendale House is a small family run bed and breakfast, in the centre of the picturesque village of Goathland, high on the North Yorkshire Moors.
The House overlooks the common, where sheep graze right outside the garden gate, and during the day, the steam trains of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway can be heard as they pull into Goathland station, about a mile away. Glendale House is more recently famous as Dr. Ferrenby's house, in the TV series "Heartbeat", and Goathland station was the setting for "Hogsmeade station" in the first Harry Potter Movie.
