Lake's End is a lovely old Westmorland stone country house wonderfully set within substantial terraced gardens and woodland approached via an 80 yard driveway off the A590 road.

Lakes End is located at the southern end of Lake Windermere near Country Inns and Restaurants, ideally situated for Lake District and coastal attractions.

Our comfortable well-appointed bedrooms are all en suite and centrally heated with colour television, Sky Freesat, radio alarms, hospitality trays, toiletries and hair dryers.

We offer a choice of a Family room for three, plus twin and double bedrooms - all individually decorated.

We serve a choice of breakfasts from Full English to a freshly baked basket of croissant, pain au chocolate and Danish pastries. Served in our modern and tasteful dining room where you can also enjoy evening meals. We are a fully-licensed premises.

Getting There: By Road: M6, Junction 36, follow the A590 towards Barrow. (12 miles to Newby Bridge.) At Newby Bridge go straight at the roundabout, Lakes End is approximately 100 yards on the left. By Rail: West coast main line, change at Lancaster for Grange-over-sands, or to Oxenholme Station, Kendal. By Coach: National Express Coaches stop outside the Newby Bridge Hotel. The main terminus is Windermere. We can arrange transport for you by taxi from the rail or coach stations.
Further Information: Packed Lunches, Diabetics and Special Diets can be catered for. Guests have free use of our local leisure club, pool, gym, Jacuzzi, sauna, etc. Ample private parking is available for vehicles and secure overnight storage for bicycles, motorcycles etc.
