The Old Forge is not the usual bed & breakfast. This comfortable 15th Century Squires House, built in 1460, towards the end of the reign of King James, was used as a country retreat. The property retaining all it's Old World charm, but is renovated for today's comforts.

The establishment is well located for visiting numerous attractions within the region. It is also within close vicinity of major roads including the M11 and A10.

The proprietors endeavour to cater for guests every need. With free-range eggs, home cooked food, fresh homemade bread, and preserves, you will feel most welcome.
