Built in 1877 Glenholme Guest House in the Lake District is a traditional Victorian house owned by the same family for 16 years and it is ideally placed for the Historical town of Kendal.

Glenholme offers rooms to suite singles, doubles, twins, and a family room sleeping four with an en suite bathroom.

We have a private parking area and offer a complete breakfast including juices, cerials, fruits, toast and of course a full English breakfast.

Glenholme is just a ten minute walk into the market town, the Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal College, Abbot Hall Gallery and the local Leisure Centre

We strive to make your stay a relaxing hassle free experiance

If arriving by train or bus we offer a taxi pick up, by arrangement.

Things to do: There are many attractions to visit including the Brewery Arts Centre where you can enjoy, theatre, cinema, the Arts or just a relaxing meal. From Glenholme you can take a 10 minute riverside walk into town passing the Parish church and the renowned Abbot Hall Art Gallery. On your way you can stop for refreshments at the Riverside Coffee Shop where the River Kent runs through the heart of the town in spring you may see the salmon jump.
Getting There: Travelling from the M6 exit at junction 36 following the A590 to Kendal, after the BP Garage take the 'Kendal South' exit and follow Milnthorpe Road through the traffic lights at the cross roads. Glenholme is located after the lights and opposite Kendal College in an elevated position.
