Manor Farm Dethick was once the home of Anthony Babington executed for his failed plot to rescue Mary Queen of Scots from nearby Wingfield Manor. His love for her cost him his head and also resulted in Mary's execution. Visitors worldwide travel here to his peaceful backwater which played such an important part in England's history.
