From the A1 proceed onto the A697 Coldstream road to the B6344 Rothbury. Drive through Rothbury arriving at Thropton, just after the village sign, turn right at the Cross Keys Pub. Proceed to the next T junction and turn left. Remain on this road until reaching the house
